Francesco Bagnaia stopped on track to "calm down" after frustrating Aragón practice

Francesco Bagnaia says he intentionally stopped on track after Friday practice in Aragón to “calm down” after becoming “frustrated with himself” for failing to reach Q2. The two-time MotoGP champion ended the day as Ducati’s slowest rider at MotorLand Aragón, 13th and more than a second behind Aprilia pace-setter Marco Bezzecchi. Struggling for speed on his factory GP26, Bagnaia attempted to break into the top 10 with a fresh soft tyre but crashed mentally when he went wide at the final corner. He said nerves and frustration affected his single-lap pace, and credited Alex Marquez as a helpful reference point for the next session.
