Group 1 Automotive Announces College Park Hyundai is now Group 1 Hyundai College Park

Group 1 Automotive is renaming College Park Hyundai to Group 1 Hyundai College Park as part of a broader brand alignment across its dealership network. The company said the change becomes effective June 2, 2026, and was announced June 25, 2026, in College Park, Maryland. The dealership, which Group 1 has owned and operated since early 2024, will continue serving customers from its existing location at 9400 Baltimore Avenue and will not represent a change in ownership, staffing, products, or day-to-day operations. Group 1 says the rebrand is meant to create a more consistent customer experience and provide clearer ties to its national platform, while preserving Hyundai expertise and local relationships in College Park and Prince George’s County. David Gruner III, general manager of Group 1 Hyundai College Park, said customers will see more consistency, convenience, and transparency for sales, service, and trade-ins.
