Group 1 Hyundai North Austin Celebrates One Year of Serving Austin-Area Hyundai Drivers

Group 1 Hyundai North Austin marks a year of operating under the Group 1 name and Hyundai franchise, expanding its presence in the Austin market. The dealership, formerly Town North Nissan, began operating as Group 1 Hyundai North Austin on July 1, 2025, and celebrated its first anniversary on July 1, 2026. Group 1 Automotive said the rebrand aligns more locations under one name to give customers a clearer connection to the retailer’s scale, resources, and operational standards while keeping the local team. The North Austin store serves Austin and surrounding Central Texas communities including Round Rock, Cedar Park, and Georgetown with new Hyundai vehicles, pre-owned inventory, and service, parts, and maintenance support. Group 1 said customers also benefit from the local relationships built over prior years. General Manager Paul Spence credited the community for making the first year successful.
