Hyundai cuts IONIQ 5 N EV prices by $6,300
Hyundai has cut prices for the 2026 IONIQ 5 N electric performance model by $6,300, lowering its starting price to $59,900 for the new model year. The company announced the reduction on Wednesday, positioning the move as a “substantially lower starting price” for its first electric N model. Beyond cost, Hyundai says the 2026 version adds a native NACS port, enabling access to Tesla Superchargers without an adapter, building on the standard IONIQ 5 setup. Other updates include an updated N Drift Optimizer mode with ten stages, upgraded charging accessories such as a dual-amp Level 1/Level 2 cable, and adapters for CSS-to-NACS for Level 2 and DC fast charging. Hyundai also lists a new Performance Blue Pearl exterior option and auto down/up for rear windows. With N Grin Boost active, the IONIQ 5 N can deliver up to 641 horsepower and 568 lb-ft for a 10-second burst.
