Mans 24h: Toyota beats BMW, Cadillac for first win in four years

Toyota secured a landmark victory at Le Mans with the radically redesigned TR010 Hybrid, as Nyck de Vries, Kamui Kobayashi, and Mike Conway clinched the win in the #7 Toyota by 11 seconds. The sister car, driven by Hartley, Hirakawa, and Buemi in the #8, finished third, while the #20 BMW M Hybrid V8 led early and finished second.

The finishing order underscored Toyota’s resurgence, marking its first Le Mans win since 2022 and sixth overall, with De Vries earning his first Le Mans overall victory. BMW delivered its strongest Le Mans effort since its return in 2024, while Cadillac pursued the podium early before settling back in the field.
