Marc Marquez claims dominant Aragon MotoGP Sprint victory
xCruzo Brief
Marc Marquez dominated the Aragon MotoGP sprint from pole position lead-in to the finish, leading every lap in his home race. Marco Bezzecchi started well from P1, but Marquez launched a divebomb at the first corner to take the lead into Turn 1. Bezzecchi ran slightly wide and Alex Marquez moved into second, producing a Marquez brothers 1-2 with the Italian third. Championship leader Jorge Martin battled Raul Fernandez for fourth, while Pedro Acosta passed both on the first lap. Martin later used the home straight to regain positions, ending fifth after Lap 2, while Acosta’s fastest lap was followed by a mistake that allowed Martin through on Lap 3. Marc won by 1.140s, with Alex second and Bezzecchi third.
