Marc Marquez injury concern emerges as Bezzecchi also admits struggle
Marc Márquez and Marco Bezzecchi say they’re still not at full fitness as the Aragon Grand Prix approaches, despite both showing up last time out at the British Grand Prix. Márquez, currently fourth in the riders’ standings, missed multiple races this season due to an ankle fracture from a Le Mans crash, then a shoulder-screw issue that required double surgery. Bezzecchi, second in the championship, returned in third at Silverstone after a Germany injury involving collarbone repair and knee clean-up. Márquez described lingering problems tied to seven operations on his right arm and hopes Aragon’s anti-clockwise layout reduces effects. Bezzecchi pointed to ongoing left-knee effusion limiting bending and said he’ll have to “suffer” to get through.
