Marco Bezzecchi banned from Czech GP for hitting marshal in sprint

Marco Bezzecchi has been banned from the Czech Grand Prix after stewards penalised him for pushing and striking a marshal in the sprint. The factory Aprilia rider was leading when he crashed at Turn 3 on the penultimate lap of the Brno sprint, and footage showed him assaulting a marshal who was recovering his bike. He faced a stewards hearing on Saturday evening and was suspended from starting Sunday's race, with Aprilia retaining the right to appeal. The FIM regulatory description classifies the act as prejudicial to the sport and a breach of championship rules.
