Marquez wins Czech GP as Bezzecchi serves suspension: Marc Marquez continued his return from injury with victory at Brno, as MotoGP leader Marco Bezzecchi was forced to miss the race due to a one-race suspension. The seven-time champion, racing number 33, had won last time out in Hungary and again took the lead with five laps remaining, beating teammate Francesco Bagnaia. Ai Ogura finished second after passing Bagnaia late, while Bezzecchi did not start following an altercation with a marshal on Saturday. The report says Bezzecchi crashed out of the sprint and, while trying to remount a damaged bike, appeared to strike the marshal twice in the gravel trap. Bezzecchi later apologized in person and said the behavior “should not happen.” Jorge Martin finished ninth and trails Bezzecchi by eight points, with Fabio Di Giannantonio third. Marquez is fourth overall, 40 points behind, having been 102 points adrift weeks earlier.
