Marc Marquez goes back-to-back with Czech MotoGP race victory in Brno
Marc Marquez goes back-to-back with Czech MotoGP race victory in Brno: Marc Marquez secured consecutive grand prix wins by taking the Brno MotoGP race, holding off pole-sitter Ai Ogura by roughly half a second on the final lap. Ogura grabbed the holeshot into Turn 1, but the key action came behind him as Fabio Di Giannantonio slipped from second to fifth, triggering an internal Ducati fight involving Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia. Both Ducatis made moves on Ogura, demoting him from their battle to third. The race also included incidents such as Fabio Quartararo running into the gravel traps at Turn 8 after losing the front. Aprilia title rival Jorge Martin served long-lap penalties on Laps 5 and 6, dropping from ninth to 13th. Marquez passed Bagnaia on Lap 15 at Turn 5 to lead for the first time and then built a half-second advantage by lap’s end, while Ogura claimed second five laps from home. Bagnaia finished third after leading much of the race, with a four-race podium streak.
