Mazda 6e Atenza 2027 review: snapshot
Mazda’s 6e Atenza 2027 is positioned as the flagship of the automaker’s new electric vehicle lineup, with the CX-6e SUV arriving later this year. Priced from $52,990, the Atenza includes 19-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, tri-zone climate control, ambient lighting, heated and ventilated front seats, and a 14.6-inch central touchscreen paired with a 10.2-inch digital driver display. Inside, Mazda adds leather and synthetic suede materials, a two-tone leather-wrapped steering wheel, and extra synthetic suede on the dashboard and doors. Performance is handled by a single rear-mounted motor rated at 190kW and 290Nm, supported by a 78kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery Mazda claims delivers 560km range. Safety features include autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, and 360-degree cameras. It comes with a five-year/unlimited km warranty, while the battery is covered for eight years/160,000km and service is scheduled every 15,000km/12 months.
