Mercedes Actros L Procabin | Review
Mercedes Actros L Procabin | Review details how Mercedes-Benz Trucks updates its Actros L with a new, more aerodynamic ProCabin face. The cab also supports the truck’s 30th anniversary for the established Actros line and is positioned for fleets seeking visual impact through bold liveries and colors. Mercedes says the design builds on the existing Actros concept while improving aerodynamics, aided by mirror cameras and retention of class V and VI mirrors. The same cab is offered with the latest eActros 600, with large fleets such as Amazon having ordered 200 electric trucks. For the diesel version, Mercedes cites up to 3% improved fuel economy versus the standard Actros L cab. Engine choices range from a 10.7-litre unit rated 326–455 hp to 12.8- and 15.6-litre options offering 421–530 hp and 517–625 hp, paired with a standard 12-speed automated transmission. The truck includes GPS-based Predictive Powertrain Control and EU safety systems including Active Brake Assist 6.
