Miami's Skyline Is Getting Super Tall

Miami’s skyline is set for a major step up. Cipriani Residences in the Brickell neighborhood became the tallest building in Miami and the tallest residential project south of New York City at 950 feet, surpassing the 9-year-old Panorama Tower by 82 feet. It is expected to be overtaken by the Waldorf Astoria Residences in 2028. By 2030, Miami Riverbridge, Dolce & Gabbana and One Bayfront are also expected to reach around 1,049 feet, near the FAA height limit tied to flight paths at Miami International Airport. Several other tall projects are listed, including Delano Residences (985 feet) and Citadel’s new headquarters (958 feet). Development is also shaped by limited available land, rising sea-level risk, and permitting timelines that can be months rather than years.
