Trackhouse Racing rider Ai Ogura will miss this week’s Aragon Grand Prix after a left-hand fracture suffered while training in Japan, the MotoGP team said Wednesday. The 25-year-old will not race in Spain for the second year in succession, having also withdrawn last year due to a leg injury. Trackhouse said that on arrival in Europe, the break near Ogura’s left thumb was found to require surgery, scheduled for Thursday. Ogura is third in the riders’ standings and won his first MotoGP race at Assen in June. He trails championship leader Jorge Martin by 37 points heading into the Aug. 28-30 race.
