Power Metallic Defines High-Grade Maiden Resource at Lion Averaging ~3.9% CuEq, with >85% Indicated and Significant Expansion Potential
Power Metallic Mines (TSXV:PNPN) (OTCBB:PNPNF) (Frankfurt:IVV1) updated its Mineral Resource Estimate for the Nisk Project in Québec’s Eeyou Istchee James Bay territory, a joint effort with Critical Elements Lithium (Power Metallic 80% / Critical Elements 20%). The new MRE, prepared by SGS Canada under NI 43-101 standards and effective June 19, 2026, incorporates drilling completed to April 19, 2026. It includes the inaugural resource for the Lion Zone, a high-grade copper-dominant polymetallic discovery from 2023, with more than 85% classified as Indicated. Lion contains 4,145,000 Mt Indicated at 3.86% CuEq and 601,000 Mt Inferred at 4.01% CuEq, with recoveries above 98% in locked-cycle tests and concentrates grading over 25% Cu. The company is assessing proposals for a PEA integrating Lion and Nisk, supported by five active rigs targeting depth and strike extensions.
