Ram Is Teaming Up With An Unlikely Tuner For A New Performance Truck
Ram is teaming up with an unlikely tuner for a new performance truck, with Roush Performance stepping into the Ram lineup after decades of modifying high-performance Ford models. Roush says it is building its first truck partnership with Ram (excluding the older Dodge Dakota), aiming to help the automaker develop a new performance vehicle. Details remain limited, but an image posted by Roush on Instagram suggests the truck could be an even hotter version of the TRX or RHO. Both of those Ram variants already offer high output, and the collaboration hints at additional power and Roush-style calibration or components. The company’s experience includes an aftermarket catalog and modified Ford trucks such as the Nitemare street truck and the lifted RT6. Roush also recently revealed the 1500 Rumble Bee and could apply similar performance ideas to models like the 2500 Power Wagon.
