Ram's Solid 2026 Could Break Stellantis' Seven-Year Self-Inflicted Bad Luck Streak - Jalopnik
Ram’s Solid 2026 is being positioned as a key swing factor for Stellantis as the automaker tries to reverse a long stretch of declining sales. The Ram 1500 powered a 27% jump in second-quarter sales, helping Stellantis move to its fourth consecutive quarterly sales gain, even as several other nameplates—Jeep Grand Cherokee, Compass, Wrangler, Gladiator and Dodge Durango—fell. Across the first half of 2026, Stellantis deliveries rose 6% overall. In Texas, Payne Edinburg Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram was close to surpassing its June Ram total in the first week of July, crediting July 1 rebates that expand with price. The Tungsten trim starts at nearly $92,000 including shipping and can be paired with a 15% rebate for savings that can reach about $20,000 with other discounts. Separately, Stellantis targets 35% higher North American sales and plans 11 new vehicles by 2030.
