Richard Hammond reveals Grand Tour cars he brought back from the shows
xCruzo Brief
Richard Hammond has shared which cars he kept from his years on Top Gear and The Grand Tour, saying in a new DriveTribe video that he brought home the vehicles rather than typical souvenirs. Speaking from near Abergavenny, Hammond recalled the cars as “battered, slightly ridiculous, and full of very good memories,” shaped by about two decades of filming with Jeremy Clarkson and James May. The video also looks back at the last days of The Grand Tour, and highlights Hammond’s reputation for collecting vehicles, including British classics, Land Rovers, American muscle and performance cars. He runs the restoration business The Smallest Cog in Herefordshire and has been reported to have dozens of cars registered at his home in south-east Wales.
