She appeared as Peggy Maxwell for three seasons from 1968 to 1971 in NBC’s rotating “wheel” drama. She later played Sally McMillan on McMillan & Wife for five seasons until a contract dispute in 1976. Returning to TV in 1984, she reunited with Jessica Lange’s Kate & Allie cast counterpart Mary?—the article states she teamed with Jane Curtin on the CBS sitcom, which ran until cancellation in 1989.
