The Electric Renault Megane Gets A Fresh Face And More Range
The Electric Renault Megane Gets A Fresh Face And More Range as Renault updates its Megane E-Tech Electric for 2026 with both styling changes and improved usability. The model now claims up to 311 miles (500 km) on the WLTP cycle, enabled by a new lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery with a 67 kWh net capacity. Renault says the LFP pack is physically larger, leading engineers to raise ride height by 20 mm (0.8 inches). Charging has also been increased, with DC power rising by 35 kW to 165 kW, cutting a 15-to-80% recharge to about 24 minutes. Visually, the facelift swaps older daytime running lights for a diamond-themed lighting signature, revises rear lights, and reworks the bumper with a diffuser-like element. Inside, it keeps separate climate buttons and adds a mandatory driver-attention camera that can personalize settings. The 215 hp, 221 lb-ft (300 Nm) front-drive system remains.
