These Are Your Tesla Roadster Takes - Jalopnik

A few days after Elon Musk’s Tesla Roadster unveiling, Jalopnik gathered readers’ reactions to the latest concept iteration. While the publication notes it’s still unclear whether the vehicle—or anything like it—will ever reach production, the comment section showed broad skepticism. Readers debated whether the stunt-heavy presentation matches a real street-ready car, with several arguing the visuals feel derivative, the “rocket spectacle” theatrics won’t translate, and production prototypes would be limited. Some questioned practical legality and safety, including concerns about flight rules and even insurance coverage. Others contrasted the design with a previous electric Roadster concept, calling that earlier version more compelling.
