Washington, D.C.’s third weekend of September, September 18-20, is packed with options ranging from big street festivities on the H Street Corridor to major arena and theater events. The Washington Times lists 72 activities drawn from a longer set, including country star Garth Brooks at Capital One Arena and multiple world-premiere and DC-premiere stage productions. Signature Theatre opens its 2026-2027 season with “Merrily We Roll Along,” while GALA’s “Garbo: The Actor Who Saved the World” runs through September 27, 2026.
