Three-vehicle crash reported at US 33 and Township Road 99 - Peak of Ohio
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a three-vehicle crash that occurred Sunday morning at the intersection of U.S. 33 and Township Road 99 in Peak of Ohio. Troopers said it happened shortly after 11 a.m. when a 2014 Nissan Altima driven by 18-year-old Donovan Corwin of St. Paris stopped on Township Road 99 at the stop sign and reportedly failed to yield. Corwin pulled into the path of a westbound 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 operated by 30-year-old Brent Reed of Marysville. The impact pushed Reed’s vehicle into a 2026 Honda Civic driven by 75-year-old James Wehrman, who was southbound on Township Road 99 at the stop sign. Wehrman and his 75-year-old passenger, Sandra Wehrman, were taken to Mary Rutan Hospital by Indian Lake EMS. Corwin was cited for failure to yield, and Huntsville Volunteer Fire Department responded.
