A three-vehicle crash was reported Friday afternoon at the intersection of U.S. 68 and County Road 111, just before 3 p.m., according to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office. A 2010 Ford F-150 driven by 54-year-old Christopher Lowery of Rushsylvania was stopped at the stop sign on County Road 111, facing west. Two other vehicles, a 2010 Mitsubishi Endeavor driven by 60-year-old Tammy Queen of Bellefontaine and a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by 17-year-old Adalynn Peterson of Belle Center, were traveling north on U.S. 68. Lowery failed to yield, entering the roadway into oncoming traffic and hitting both vehicles. No injuries were reported; the Ford had minor damage, while the other two sustained heavy damage and were towed. Lowery was cited for failure to yield right of way.
