Torcal Is Bentley's Most Powerful Production Car
Bentley says the Torcal will become its most powerful production car ever built in Crewe, and its fastest off the line, as the company prepares its first fully electric SUV. Due as a 2028 model, with US sales starting in 2027, the Torcal is positioned as the opening act of Bentley’s electric lineup. Bentley is targeting a sub-three-second sprint to 60 mph and has confirmed a dual-motor setup delivering more than 838 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque. It also aims for a 373-mile WLTP range, backed by 400-kW DC fast charging that Bentley says can add about 100 miles in roughly seven minutes, with a 10-to-80% top-up under 20 minutes. The SUV’s public debut is scheduled for September 23, 2026, with the company tying the date to London reveal efforts. Bentley has also previewed a curved-screen interior and a Curation Engine with sound, lighting and climate modes.
