Totally Overbuilt Race Car Trailer Made to Withstand Baja Can Be Fixed With Chevy Truck Parts
A specialized Baja-capable race car trailer from JEHC and Valew is built to be both very sturdy and relatively lightweight where it matters most—plus it’s designed to be repairable with parts sourced from salvage yards. The trophy-truck hauler features an intentionally utilitarian layout, including a large storage box in the tongue section with room for 35-inch tires on either side, and a deck tailored for a Class 6100 rig while staying as narrow as possible. The design includes three aluminum boxes per side—fronting the electric-over-hydraulic brake assembly—and space under the frame rails for up to five 42-inch tires (with the potential for 10). About 24 feet long and 96 inches wide, it stows ramps at the rear and sits low enough for trophy trucks to drive on without them.
