Touchdowns and turkey tacos: Colorado's DeAndre Moore Jr. uses NIL funds to invest in food truck

DeAndre Moore Jr. is putting Colorado’s NIL funds into a food truck business and Tesla rentals, aiming to turn college football earnings into longer-term returns. The Buffaloes receiver, who joined Colorado in January after three seasons at the University of Texas, used his name, image and likeness money to buy a truck for “Jive Turkey.” The menu includes items such as burgers and deep-fried tacos, plus turkey-centered specialties like a cornbread bowl with mashed potatoes, shredded turkey, macaroni and cheese, and gravy. The truck is currently in Austin with plans to move to Boulder.
