Trackhouse announces Raúl Fernández's contract renewal for MotoGP 2027-28

Trackhouse has renewed Raul Fernandez’s MotoGP contract for the 2027 and 2028 seasons, extending the deal after negotiations that lasted nearly half a year. The impasse reportedly centered on contract length: Fernandez wanted a two-year agreement, while the team preferred more flexibility. Trackhouse team owner Massimo Marks said the rider has stayed committed since the team’s start and has developed in both racing performance and preparation. Fernandez joined MotoGP in 2022 after an eight-win Moto2 campaign that included seven pole positions and 12 podiums, finishing four points behind teammate Remy Gardner. After a difficult KTM/Tech3 debut season, he moved to RNF Aprilia and now is completing his third year with Trackhouse.
