Two children dead after car crashes into pram

Two children aged 1 and 5 have died after a car crashed into their pram in Cabramatta, Sydney’s south-west. Emergency services were called to the Joseph and Gilbert Street intersection shortly after 3:00pm, where paramedics treated the children at the scene before transporting them to hospital in critical condition. Both children were pronounced dead at the hospital. A 33-year-old woman known to the victims sustained minor injuries at the scene. Police have not released further details about the vehicle or driver at this stage, and investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances of the incident.
