USWNT Friendly: Scouting Spain

Spain’s No. 1-ranked women’s national team will face the U.S. under Emma Hayes in two friendlies that double as scouting for the upcoming 2026 CONCACAF W Championship, which awards four spots for the 2027 World Cup. The first match is set for Audi Field in Washington, D.C., while the second is at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania. It’s the fifth and sixth meeting between the nations, with the USWNT holding a 3-1-0 edge but losing the most recent friendly in October 2022, 0-2. Spain topped UEFA qualifying Group A3 on goal differential to book a World Cup spot in Brazil.
