Utah suspends player arrested for allegedly sharing sex video

Utah placed senior defensive tackle Jamal Wallace on an indefinite suspension after his arrest earlier this month on a misdemeanor charge of distribution of an intimate image. The team said it learned of the situation on Oct. 11 and immediately suspended him while the case is pending. Wallace was arrested Oct. 11 after a woman reported to police that he raped her and shared videos of the alleged assault on Snapchat, according to The Salt Lake Tribune. He was released from jail after posting $5,000 bail. A probable cause affidavit cited by the Deseret News says Wallace denied allegations of forcible sodomy, rape, and distributing intimate images, and the officer reported finding two explicit videos on the victim’s phone.
