Volkswagen Rolls out New-Look 2027 Atlas Cross Sport

Volkswagen has unveiled a redesigned 2027 Atlas Cross Sport for the U.S., aiming to move the sporty variant of its flagship SUV closer to a “near-premium” feel. The updated model features a new exterior and a “reimagined” cabin, with a coupe-like rear profile that makes it 5.4 inches shorter (195.6 inches overall) than the 7-seat 2027 Atlas and also 2.1 inches lower. VW says the stance is elevated by more body-color trim and sharper body lines, plus optional illuminated door handles with puddle lamps and unique projection patterns. Inside, the cabin adds contrasting colors, ambient lighting (30-color on top trims), and a larger 12.9-inch screen that grows to 15 inches on higher versions.
