WACKER to Showcase Advanced Silicone Technologies for Thermal Management and Battery Safety at The Battery Show 2026

WACKER will use The Battery Show 2026 in Detroit to showcase silicone materials aimed at thermal management and battery safety, highlighting thermally conductive potting, flexible barrier coatings, and thermal interface options. The company’s exhibit runs Oct. 12-15 at Huntington Place, Booth 4422. Among the featured products is ELASTOSIL RT 7650 TC VS A/B, a low-viscosity, self-leveling potting compound with primerless adhesion and customizable thermal conductivity from 1.2 to 3.0 W/m*K. WACKER will also display ELASTOSIL CM 146 US A/B, a sprayable silicone coating designed to remain deformable after curing, then form a ceramic thermal barrier above 600°C during thermal runaway events.
