Why Ducati could have an advantage over Aprilia at Aragon GP

Ducati riders Francesco Bagnaia and Fabio di Giannantonio believe the Desmosedici could have an edge over Aprilia at this weekend’s Aragon Grand Prix, citing the circuit’s grippy, anti-clockwise layout. Bagnaia says Aragon’s surface level and configuration are closer to Brno, and he expects Ducati to bounce back after a difficult weekend at Silverstone. He also points out Aragon as the only left-handed track where he feels comfortable, hoping it helps deliver better fighting potential. The balance between the Italian manufacturers has swung this year, with Aprilia posting seven wins and Ducati five. Di Giannantonio argues Aprilia’s low-grip strengths won’t translate as well at Aragon, where grip is among the highest on the calendar.
