Zoomlion Unveils 1,600-Horsepower 9DX Hybrid Tractor for Large-Scale Farming

Zoomlion unveiled its 9DX hybrid tractor at the 2026 China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition on Oct. 26 in Changsha, presenting it as a 1,600-horsepower, large-farm machine built for sustained heavy-duty work. The company says the 9DX is the world’s most powerful tractor, driven by a hybrid continuously variable transmission and an 800-volt dual-motor coupling system delivering 7,200 newton-meters of peak torque. A hydraulic flow rate of 636 liters per minute supports wide seeders and variable-rate fertilizer applicators. The 9DX uses a four-track system with proprietary 762-millimeter tracks and a fully suspended cab. It also showcased intelligent equipment and software, while signing deals with partners from 20+ countries at its Oct. 28 dealer conference.
