ZXMoto Just Dropped the Production Specs of Its WorldSBK-Winning Bike. Absolutely Insane for the Money
ZXMoto has released production specifications for its 820RR-R sportbike after it went on sale in China, positioning the model as a high-performance option despite not being the top version in its lineup. The 820RR-R is based on a platform that has supported six WorldSSP wins for rider Valentin Debise, and the company says the bike was recently placed in dealerships in China. Power comes from an 819cc three-cylinder engine with titanium valves and a higher compression ratio than the standard 820RR. ZXMoto claims 145 hp at 13,500 rpm and about 61 lb-ft of torque at 10,000 rpm, while listing a kerb weight of 410 lbs. Stopping power includes Brembo M50 calipers with a Brembo master cylinder and dual 330 mm discs. The bike adds KYB adjustable suspension, forged wheels with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa V4 tires, and a 6-axis IMU with cornering ABS, lean-sensitive traction control, launch control, wheelie control, and an up-and-down quickshifter, plus cruise control, tire pressure monitoring, and keyless ignition.
