All the New Shows and Movies on Netflix in October 2026

Netflix has laid out a heavy slate for October 2026, featuring new series, films and documentaries alongside several returning titles. Among the highlights are Florence Pugh starring in Zoe Kazan’s miniseries East of Eden, Chris Evans and Anya Taylor-Joy in the comic thriller Sacrifice, and Ben Affleck’s Animals, which he also directs. The Diplomat returns for another season, as does Nobody Wants This. Netflix will also add documentaries focused on comedians Martin Mull, Maria Bamford, Norm Macdonald and the classic sketch series SCTV. The release schedule begins Oct. 1, including Crazy Rich, Incredibly Broke and East of Eden.
