Celtic Return to Lisbon: Benfica Team News, TV Details and Squad Absences

Celtic return to Lisbon for a Thursday Europa League clash with Benfica at Estádio da Luz, with manager Martin O’Neill facing multiple squad restrictions after Sunday’s win over Motherwell. The match kicks off at 8pm UK time, with live coverage on TNT Sports 3 from 7pm and streaming available on HBO Max for subscribers. Celtic’s previous group-phase outing ended in a 3-1 home loss to Ferencváros. The biggest setback is Jota, omitted from Celtic’s registered European squad despite his return versus Motherwell. Shim Mheuka, Landon Emenalo and Joël van den Berg are also absent, while Cameron Carter-Vickers is a fitness doubt. Auston Trusty is available, and Kieran Tierney’s performance is a boost.
