Delaware faces big FBS test at Vanderbilt. Live updates, score, TV

Delaware opens its latest FBS test on Sept. 12 when the Blue Hens travel to Vanderbilt’s FirstBank Stadium for a 4:15 p.m. EDT kickoff, live on the SEC Network. The game is a measuring stick for the program in its second season at the FBS level and comes against a Commodores team that finished 2025 ranked 15th nationally after going 10-3 and beating four top-20 opponents. Both teams are 1-0 after early wins over FCS opponents—Delaware beat Merrimack 42-7, Vanderbilt defeated Austin Peay 28-9. Vanderbilt returns many starters, though Heisman Trophy runner-up quarterback Diego Pavia is out.
