Judge Judy Steps Away From Courtroom TV To Focus On 'Judyverse'

Judge Judy (Judith Sheindlin) is stepping away from her long-running courtroom series as she shifts toward new projects, including Judyverse, an adult animated show inspired by viral “Baby Judge Judy” AI videos. Her Prime Video series, Judy Justice, is set to end in October, marking the end of her on-air courtroom run of roughly three decades. Sheindlin will also support her son, Adam Levy, who is launching “Adam’s Law” on September 14 on CBS. Levy, a former two-term district attorney for Putnam County, New York, will serve as presiding judge for small-claims cases featured on the program, bringing more than 25 years of legal experience. Sheindlin says he has “what it takes” to carry the show, describing his TV recall and knowledge of the law.
