Full circle moment': Pusha T and Pharrell channel childhood friendship into business venture

Pusha T and Pharrell Williams are turning decades of friendship into a business venture with their new coffee brand, “Grindin’.” Both grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and their early-morning studio routine—often starting around 5 a.m.—carried over into recording Pusha T’s 2022 album, “It’s Almost Dry.” During the COVID-19 pandemic, Pusha T stayed with Williams in Miami, where coffee became their “fuel” for working early. The pair selected beans and blends based on personal taste, including trips to Italy to sample varieties. Pusha T also pointed to upcoming solo album work.
