Man falls to his death during rock concert at Madison Square Garden

A man died after falling from an upper deck during a concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday night, police said. Officers responding to a 911 call around 9:51 p.m. found the Connecticut man unconscious and unresponsive, with injuries they said indicated a fall from an elevated position. Police did not specify the distance of the fall, but said he was in Section 300. He was identified as Paul Kueker of Niantic, and was with his wife, according to authorities. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead. No foul play is suspected. The rock band Goose was performing and said it was “reeling,” adding that proceeds from its Central Park show Sunday would support a charitable fund for fans.
