SMU-Cal game time/TV announced; other regional game times for Oct. 24

The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the kickoff time for SMU’s home game against Cal on Oct. 24, setting it for 11 a.m. on Ch. 33 (The CW). It’s the second straight week the No. 24 Mustangs will appear in that 11 a.m. slot as they host the Bears (3-3). SMU is looking to partially avenge a late-season 38-35 loss to Cal that kept the Mustangs from reaching last year’s ACC championship game. In the Big 12, TCU’s Oct. 24 home matchup versus West Virginia is also scheduled for 11 a.m., broadcast on ESPN2. The SEC slate includes Texas A&M at Alabama at 2:30 p.m. on Ch. 8, plus Oklahoma vs. Mississippi State at 2:30 in Starkville with TV to be determined, and Texas vs. Mississippi at 6:30 p.m. on Ch. 8.
