Teaser released for The Inbetweeners 3 as fans say it's 'best left in the past'

Netflix has confirmed that The Inbetweeners 3 is in production, announcing it with a short teaser posted Monday, September 7 on Netflix UK social media. The clip shows Simon Bird, Joe Thomas, Blake Harrison, and James Buckley climbing into the famous 1996 Fiat Cinquecento “Hawaii edition” from the original series. After Joe initially struggles to start the engine, the car sputters into life and the number three appears in the rear windshield before the group drives off from a storage unit. The series originally ran on E4 from 2008 to 2010, followed by two films released in 2011 and 2014 with box-office success. The main cast is set to return, with writing and directing by Damon Beesley and Iain Morris.
