The New Season: Fall 2026 - The most anticipated new movies, music, TV and more

A new roundup of entertainment releases previews what’s coming in the fall of 2026, spanning movies, music and more. “Misty Green” opens Oct. 9, a comedy-drama directed by Chris Rock and starring Rosalind Eleazar alongside Adam Driver, Daniel Kaluuya, Anna Kendrick and Anthony Anderson. “Musk” premieres Oct. 9 in New York and Los Angeles, then rolls out nationwide, with filmmaker Alex Gibney directing a nearly four-hour look at Elon Musk; Gibney did not have direct access, using a computer-generated Musk avatar instead. Other films include “Wild Horse Nine” (Nov. 6), “The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth” (IMAX Nov. 25; Netflix Dec. 23), and “The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping” (Nov. 20 in theaters and IMAX).
