The story of rescue concert (11th of July 2026) Białołęka Cultural Centre Głębocka 66
Inkuru y'Itabaro (Story of Rescue) is a cultural production inspired by Ndabaga, Rwanda’s legendary heroine known for courage and determination. Through traditional dance, theatre, music, and storytelling, the performance brings Ndabaga’s journey to life and celebrates Rwanda’s heritage and values of resilience and leadership. Organized by Fundacja Kultury Afrykańskiej Icyeza, the project aims to promote intercultural dialogue among diverse communities. It will take place at the Białołęka Cultural Centre, Głębocka 66, on 11 July 2026, and invites volunteers of all nationalities to participate. Volunteers are being recruited across multiple teams, including event management, stage and production, hospitality, cast support, and media. Roles range from an Event Coordinator and Master of Ceremony to stage crew, child actors, narrator, and performers such as Mother and Father of Ndabaga, as well as a King and royal attendants. The team will also include guest services, protocol, and a media unit responsible for photography, videography, and digital content, with duties spanning scheduling, backstage operations, ticketing, and audience liaison. Logistics support includes volunteer drivers, with fuel costs reimbursed.
