Uber driver accused of sexually assaulting woman formally charged

A case involving an Uber driver accused of sexually assaulting a woman has moved forward with formal charges. Prosecutors in Montgomery County say Paulus Masih, 45, was indicted on counts of sexual battery (substantially impaired) involving sexual conduct, and sexual imposition. Authorities allege that Masih began partying with a group of women at a Days Inn on Old Country Road in Huber Heights, where prosecutors say the victim was under the influence when he assaulted her. Masih is not in custody, but a warrant on indictment has been issued. His first court appearance is scheduled for July 16, according to the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office.
