Wesley Wang Media Announced: Caellum Allan Named Head Of Film & Television

Wesley Wang has launched Wesley Wang Media, a creator-led film and TV company that plans to fund original, serializable IP and distribute it across social platforms, including YouTube. The slate includes Extract 14, a six-part true-crime series using a found-footage style and an interactive, cross-platform mystery. Viewers will decode elements like bodycam footage and digital interfaces, with a $100,000 bounty for the first resolution. Principal photography is slated for December. Other projects include The Algorithm, a scripted thriller in 15- to 18-minute digital-first episodes, and additional development tied to past awards and titles such as Violet and Marlowe, plus a horror short. Caellum Allan joins as Head of Film & Television from Sony’s TriStar Pictures.
