Barriers to mental health care look different across your workforce

Spring Health surveyed more than 1,500 full‑time employees across the United States, Canada, Mexico, India, and the United Kingdom for its 2026 Workplace Mental Health Annual Report, revealing practical barriers that hold people back from care. Participants identified time constraints, cost, work demands, and concerns about privacy as the most pressing obstacles, with long wait times and stigma also notable. The findings show barriers are not uniform; age, income, and other factors shape which challenges matter most and how employees experience available benefits.
