Bras for the Cause is fast approaching

Downtown Greenville will be decorated in pink and glitter on Oct. 8 for the 2026 Bras for the Cause fundraising event. The theme—“Stars, Stripes and Support”—will guide a bra contest inviting residents, businesses and organizations to create outlandish entries. Categories include “Star Spangled Bra,” “Defenders of America” and “Flavor of America.” Viewing and voting run from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in various downtown locations, with “BRAbie” awards presented around 9 p.m. at the Greenville Municipal Auditorium. Food trucks and participating restaurants will also support the effort. Proceeds will benefit Hunt Regional Healthcare Foundation’s cancer treatment project and a breast-cancer screening tracking software system.
